شرکت کردن زنان کرد در جشن نوروز از طریق تهیه‌ی خوراک‌های سنتی. طرز تهیه‌ی این خوراک‌ها نیز نسل‌به‌نسل منتقل شده است و برای طبخ آن‌ها از روش‌های ابتدایی که مورد استفاده‌ی والدین، پدربزگ‌ها و مادربزرگ‌ها بوده است، استفاده می‌شود.
