New Year is often a time when people wish for prosperity and new beginnings. March 21 marks the start of the year in the Kyrgyz Republic as well and referred to as Nooruz meaning ‘new day’. Variety of rituals, ceremonies and other cultural events take place during the celebration.

سال نو اغلب زمانی است که مردم آرزوی کامیابی و شروع جدید دارند. ۲۱ مارس در جمهوری قرقیزستان نیز روز آغاز سال است و از آن با عنوان نوروز(Nooruz) به معنای “روز جدید” یاد میشود. بسیاری از جشنها، آیینها، و سایر رویدادهای فرهنگی در طی این ایام برگزار میشوند
